Over the last few weeks and months I have been seriously thinking about the whole PWA branding and the subjects I choose to photograph. My main income, although still photography is NOT photographing tattooed models, it is shooting more traditional subjects such as model portfolios, promotional band images and building websites. My true love and the subject which first got my work noticed was photographing “Alternative” guys and girls. People you could meet next door or in the pub rather than on the professional catwalk. However the downside of working with “amateur” models is that cash flow and finances are usually very restricted. This limits the scope of the shoot, the travel distance, props and accessories etc that can be purchased to make the perfect shot.

To create 100 copies of this new unique book is estimated to cost approximately £3000 when you take into account printing, materials, travel, model expenses and locations. Money which unfortunately I do not have spare at the moment to invest up front.

Your financial pledge will help shape the look, feel and even name of the publication. By pledging you get your hands on exclusive items such as signed prints, be able to purchase the book at massively discounted prices before general release or even receive a FREE fully signed personal copy. Your name or work will be published and read by thousands of people who are on my watch-list or mailing database. (Currently around 9ooo views per day on my various websites) You may even be lucky enough to get your own photo printed in the PWA supporters section of the book!

I have designed the project so that as many people as possible will have the opportunity of getting involved. From models to photographers, from authors & poets to creative designers. Sponsorship pledges start as low as £2.50 – less than a pint or beer or packet of cigarettes, less than most magazines or bus fares! If you truly value my work, PLEASE consider sponsoring!

Once the book is available to purchase viewers/sponsors will be able to cast a free vote for individual models or photos – The model with the highest votes will receive a financial award.
The project starts NOW and is expected to run until January 2012 when printing of the book will begin.
